NASE is the world's leading authority on the improvement of speed in short sprints to enhance performance in baseball, basketball, field hockey, football, lacrosse, rugby, soccer, softball, tennis, and track.
Applicants who choose the self-study approach prepare on their own time and take the exam at an NASE testing site or in their city or town when three or more apply. Applicants may enhance the self-study approach by attending an NASE National Conference and taking the exam after the final session.
The NASE Certification Preparation e-Manual is forwarded to each applicant upon registration for the SELF-STUDY approach. SELF-STUDY applicants are not required to purchase addition resources if they already have access to key books such as Sports Speed, Strength Training, Plyometrics, and others in their personal or institutional library. Applicants whose resources are limited can choose to receive an e-copy of the 2011 book, Encyclopedia of Sports Speed that covers every aspect of the exam for an additional fee of $19.95.
